Canadian Western Agribition, is thrilled to announce the inauguration of the first ever Canadian Animal AgTech Awards, presented by Deloitte. This event is set to recognize innovative businesses at a national level for their exceptional work in animal agriculture technology.
Canadian and International businesses alike will compete in three categories: Business of the Year presented by Deloitte, Most Innovative presented by Innovation Sask, and Rising Star presented by Economic Development Regina. A diligent review team consisting of members from Canadian Western Agribition and Cultivator have reviewed all applications and selected finalists from each category.
The finalists have received an exclusive invitation to showcase their work at the tradeshow booth from November 20th-25th. On Wednesday, November 22nd, they will have the opportunity to present to a panel of judges in the AgEx building at 1:00 pm. The event will end with an awards luncheon at 11:30 am on Thursday, November 23rd.
Judging is based on three criteria: Technology, Team & Experience, and Market Potential & Finance. The impressive list of finalists includes Smart Paddock, FarmSimple, Flokk, Dyneval, CATTLEytics Incorporated, OneCup AI, and HerdWhistle Technologies.
The Animal AgTech Awards will honour forward-thinking companies dedicated to developing technologies to address challenges encountered by the livestock sector. These featured technologies provide real-time information to optimize efficiency and precision in animal health while monitoring crucial management factors.
