The Board of Directors recommends the following resolutions for consideration and approval by the membership at the upcoming Annual General Meeting:
Resolution 1 – Amendment to Purpose Statement
Be it resolved that the Agribition Community Foundation bylaws be amended to revise the Foundation’s purpose statement to read:
“Promote Canadian agriculture through financial support to individuals, educational programs, including but not limited to scholarships, organizations, and industries that support the Canadian agriculture ecosystem.”
Resolution 2 – Change of Fiscal Year-End
Be it resolved that the Agribition Community Foundation fiscal year-end be changed from January 31 to March 31 to align with the fiscal year-end of Canadian Western Agribition.
